No Pens at the HavenNewhaven FC away to Crawley Down Gatwick FC in the Peter Bentley Cup 3rd Round at Haven Sportsfield |
|
Summary TLDR(CBA)
It was a tight win for the struggling Dockers who have been somewhat off their best recently. An early goal from Billy saw them lead for half an hour but it was level at the break. A goal from Pacey just after the restart was enough to see out what was a nervous finish to a niggly game. The weather started cold and damp and got worse. We are definitely not in Crete now. Still, it’s always warmer when you win and don't have to stand in the rain watching a penalty shoot out. On to the Quarter Final. We are the Dockers by the Sea.
See you at the weekend
