Brighton & Hove Albion Women vs Everton Women in the WSL at the Broadfield Stadium
The Seagulls host the Toffees at the home of Crawley in the last game of the Women's Super League season. The hosts need a win for a record points tally.
Brighton started slowly and the BS threatened to score, eventually doing so in first half injury time. The Albion came out fighting and had the Toffees pinned back. The goal eventually came when Aileen Whellan followed up after Inessa Kaagman hit the bar. There were a few more near misses but it finished a goal each.
It was a lively game with some robust tackling. Ref did well to stop them killing each other. 🥊
POTM: Goes to Megan Walsh in goal 🥅 for keeping the Albion in the game early on.
No hot chocolate today but food registered 8/10 on the scrannometer. Yum 🍟🍔
